We believe in God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; the one God in three person. We believe that God
created the heavens and the earth called it good and set humans as care takers over them. We believe that we sinned and
corrupted that goodness, and we thankfully believe that God made the way of salvation for all through Christ, with Christ and in Christ.
We believe that in the same way God designed and ordered creation; God designed and ordered our lives. We believe that each
person has a call to serve God and serve this creation. Some are called to be preachers, teachers and lawyers while others are
called to be painters, technicians and linemen. And we hold that all are called to serve by doing their best for God’s glory. In
doing these things for God and neighbor we can and do build a closer relationship to our God and the world around us and thus
discover the joy of being.
We believe that scripture and community are keys to discovering God and the joy of living. God gave both scripture and the church
to lovingly instruct and encourage all toward faithful living. We are enriched by worship and service that are guided by the Bible. We
hold that the Bible is perfect for salvation and the church is called to serve by spreading that gospel of hope, love and peace.
